Canada’s Wonderland Accident Today – Closes Behemoth and Leviathan After Deadly Six Flags Georgia Roller Coaster Incident

VAUGHAN, Ontario — October 13, 2026 — Canada’s Wonderland has temporarily closed two of its major roller coasters following a deadly incident at Six Flags Over Georgia that left one person dead and several others injured, according to a report published by CP24.

Grace Peacock, a spokesperson for Canada’s Wonderland, said the decision was made “out of an abundance of caution,” emphasizing that guest and employee safety remains a top priority.

The precautionary closures follow an incident involving the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia on Monday afternoon, October 12. The park is located northwest of Atlanta, Georgia.
